A decathlon athlete in high school, Dr. Phil suffered a back and hip injury which negatively affected his performance. His girlfriend’s father was a chiropractor, and she recommended that Dr. Phil visit him. Dr. Phil agreed, and received chiropractic adjustments that resulted in healing and a significant improvement in his athletic performance.
Dr. Phil has been receiving adjustments ever since, including while serving in the United States Marine Corps.
Finding that chiropractic care improved his performance in all aspects of his life, Dr. Phil decided to become a chiropractor. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport IA. After giving his first adjustment “I knew this is what I was created to do.”
After the birth of his first child he witnessed how traumatic pregnancy and the birth process could be on a mom and baby and has dedicated his life to inspiring, and empowering moms.
Dr. Phil feels that his greatest professional success is his work with moms and kids, and is proud that his practice has grown over the years to be a place that truly focuses on family wellness.
Outside of the Practice
In an equally significant life event, Dr. Phil married his high school sweetheart, Mandi in 1999— the person whose father set Dr. Phil on his life course. He and Mandi have three children, ranging in age from 17 to 13: Colt, RandiLynn, and Gage. When Dr. Phil is not traveling all over the county to increase his knowledge for his practice members. Dr. Phil is busy traveling with his kids for Volleyball and Baseball. His children love sports and are always active.
